2006- Looking back …
… was it a good or a bad year for you?
Well, looking back on 2006 we can tell who were the winners for this year:
- Number one movie in box office gross was Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest with a total income of 1,065,396,812 $ made world wide. It is followed in the top by The Da Vinci Code and Ice Age 2 : The Melt-Down. Other movies in the top: Cars, X-Men 3, Casino Royale, Mission Impossible 3, Superman Returns, Over the Hedge and Devil wears Prada.
- Best Male Video was won by James Blunt, “You’re Beautiful”.
- Best 2006 Female Video - Kelly Clarkson, “Because of You”.
- Best R&B Video went to Beyonce featuring Slim Thug & Bun B, “Check On It (Pink Panther)”.
- Best Hip Hop Video - Black Eyed Peas, “My Humps”.
- Best Dance Video was won by the beautiful girls from Pussycat Dolls featuring Snoop Dogg, “Buttons”.
- Best Pop Video went to Pink, “Stupid Girls”.
- Video of the Year was declared “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”, from Panic! At The Disco.
- 2006 was the year YouTube became culturally ubiquitous. Declared the invention of the year by Time magazine, the video-sharing Web site had Ohio judges posting their weekly sentencing hearings and spawned countless explosive experiments involving Diet Coke and Mentos candies.
$40K Ferrari killer?
This car is considered a bargain in What makes an exotic car is it’s accessibility.
A Ferrari or Lamborghini or Bugatti is expensive and production is VERY limited. Ferrari refuses to sell a sub-$100k vehicle becuase it will dilute the brand. Lamborghini intentionally produces less than what the market demands to keep the owners unique. The engine is simply out of a Corvette, no R&D costs. The design works, but is just above a knock-off. What you really get is the power of a Corvette in a really light body. It does make for a very fast vehicle that should be very reliable, condering GM’s 100k mile warranty. Any true car fan has seen LS motors dropped in old Datsuns, like it or hate it. And to hear stories and see videos of the hybrid blasting along side, and sometimes leaving, a Hayabusa. But back to this versus a Ferrari. Ferraris are not the know-all tell-all of speed as they are not invincible in a race. But owning and being seen in an F430 or 599 GTB let’s people something that words cannot expressthe world of exotic sports cars.

I’ve came across an article on our website, posted by Jenny, who claims to date Michael (Eminem’s brother), the one Eminem always rejected (as well as his father as I know), and she said that when Michael was on the phone with Eminem, the artist said to leave him alone, because he’ll just leave MTV and the whole rap scene in 2007, just so people would leave him alone. I find this very shocking news, but the source (Jenny) doesn’t have any official proof yet..
